Destination Sweden

Sweden is one of the most beautiful country in the world . It lies in Europe and surrounded by Baltic sea on one side. One of the largest cities in Sweden is Stockholm.  One of my friends did visit Stockholm because of his International engagements in the business he had. He had to attend Business meeting there where he met with some of the wonderful people around the world.

Just when he was mentioning about the Stockholm he did not forgot to mention about Stockholm nightclubs  because they are the night life of Stockholm where people enjoy in the night as well. He did not forgot to tell me about the weather of the city as well. Whole country experiences varied season because of the latitude and longitude it is in.. It lies in extremly north so in winters days are around 6 hours long while days in Summers are around 18 hours long..

Overall the country is beautiful and also loveable. You should definitely visit it.

Shanghai (Chinese: 上海; Pinyin: Shànghǎi; Shanghainese: ; abbreviation: 沪; nickname: 申), situated on the banks of the Yangtze River Delta in East China, is the largest city of the People’s Republic of China and the eighth largest in the world. Widely regarded as the citadel of China’s modern economy, the city also serves as one of the nation’s most important cultural, commercial, financial, industrial and communications centers. Administratively, Shanghai is a municipality of the People’s Republic of China that has province-level status. Shanghai is also one of the world’s busiest ports, and became the largest cargo port in the world in 2005.

Originally a fishing town, Shanghai became China’s most important city by the twentieth century and was the center of popular culture, intellectual discourse and political intrigue during the Republic of China era. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, Shanghai became the third largest financial center in the world, ranking after New York City and London, and the largest commercial city in the Far East. After the communist takeover in 1949, Shanghai languished due to heavy central government taxation and cessation of foreign investment, and had many of its supposedly “bourgeois” elements purged. Following the central government’s authorization of market-economic redevelopment of Shanghai in 1992, Shanghai has now surpassed early-starters Shenzhen and Guangzhou, and has since led China’s economic growth. Some challenges remain for Shanghai at the beginning of the 21st century, as the city struggles to cope with increased worker migration, a huge wealth gap, and environmental degradation. Despite these challenges, Shanghai’s skyscrapers and modern lifestyle are often seen as representing China’s recent economic development.

Tokyo (東京 Tōkyō?), or more formally Tokyo Metropolis (東京都 Tōkyō-to?), is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan and, unique among the prefectures, provides certain municipal services characteristic of a city, as defined by Japanese law.

Because it is the seat of the Japanese government and the Imperial Palace, and the home of the Japanese Imperial Family, Tokyo is the de facto capital of Japan.

Tokyo is the most populous prefecture and city in the country. The twenty-three special wards of Tokyo, although each administratively a city in its own right, constitute the area informally considered as the “city of Tokyo” and are collectively one of the largest cities in the world with a total population of over 8 million people. The total population of the prefecture exceeds 12 million.

The Greater Tokyo Area, centered on Tokyo but also including Chiba, Kanagawa, and Saitama, is the most populous metropolitan area in the world with a population of over 35 million people. It has been the world’s most populous urban area since between 1965 and 1970, and despite Japan’s declining population, is still growing.

Tokyo has the largest metropolitan gross domestic product in the world for a city, and it held the title of the world’s most expensive city for over a decade from 1992 through 2005. Continue Reading »

Map Of Bali

Economics and Culture
Tourism is now the leading economic activity, surpassing agriculture, the traditional source of the island’s wealth. The Balinese originally thought to confine tourism to the beaches of the south coast, but they failed to reckon with the Australians and with non-Balinese Indonesians, not to mention other nationals, who flock to the island in increasing numbers. As a result, tourism now occupies somewhat less than a third of the total land area and is creeping northward. There are 110 starred hotels. The loss of sawah (irrigated land for rice cultivation) to construction is now two percent per year.

Tourism is a national preoccupation. The Balinese would do nothing to jeopardize tourism, or to harm tourists, and would resent any outside attempt to interfere with tourism. For that reason many Indonesians themselves see Bali as a retreat from the political or ethnic turmoil that they experience elsewhere. There are examples of Indonesian capital parked in Bali in small enterprises and/or vacation homes that are probably considered safer investments than elsewhere in Indonesia.

Much of this development is evident in the roadside construction of small shophouses (rumoko, i.e. rumah-toko) and factories, whose activities contribute to traffic congestion and whose installations obstruct the famous views of Balinese rice terraces. Except for limitations on height, a ruling that has been in effect since the Sukarno era, there are no zoning restrictions on building.
